当社団は東日本大震災や能登地震のような自然災害や大規模な事故の被災者に対し、その生活支援、心理的・精神的支援及びその他各種の支援活動を行っております。新型コロナウイルス感染症を受けて2021年6月にこども食堂を始めました。こども食堂に集まった食料物資を、ウクライナ避難民や外国にルーツのある方々の支援を行っております。今回は宮城県内に外国にツールのある人やウクライナ避難民、外国人留学生への食料支援に係る費用を募るため、クラウドファンディングを実施します。日本には2.4万人の外国人留学生が暮らしています。ウクライナからの避難民は2000人を超えています。外国人留学生は、ビザの関係でアルバイトに制約があり、慣れない環境の中、日々の食事にも困る方が多くいます。最近の物価高騰や急激な円安は大きな影響を与えています。

We provide daily life support, psychological and emotional support, and various other support activities to victims of natural disasters and large-scale accidents such as the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Noto Earthquake. We started a children’s cafeteria in June 2021. In response to the new coronavirus infection.
We use food supplies collected in the children’s cafeteria to support Ukrainian refugees and people with foreign roots. This time, we will conduct crowdfunding to raise funds for food assistance to people with tools in foreign countries, Ukrainian refugees, and international students in Miyagi Prefecture. There are 24,000 international students living in Japan. More than 2,000 people have fled Ukraine. International students are restricted from part-time jobs due to visas, and many of them have trouble eating daily in an unfamiliar environment. The recent surge in prices and the rapid depreciation of the yen have had a significant impact.

当社団は東日本大震災や能登地震のような自然災害や大規模な事故の被災者に対し、その生活支援、心理的・精神的支援及びその他各種の支援活動を行うとともに、被災企業に対する経営支援等の活動を行うことにより、被災地域の復興を支援することを目的としています。

The purpose of our organization is to support the reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas by providing livelihood support, psychological and emotional support, and various other support activities for victims of natural disasters and large-scale accidents such as the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Noto Earthquake, as well as conducting activities such as management support for disaster-stricken companies.
 活動内容をはじめるきっかけ
当社団は、2021年6月より現在仙台市・塩釜市・利府町で子ども食堂をそれぞれ毎月2回運営しています。当社団が子ども食堂を始めたきっかけは、新型コロナウイルス感染症という疫病の影響をアメリカの様に災害に準じるものととらえ、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で失業や収入の減少で生活に困窮する人が増える中、子供への支援や地域で居場所を作る事が重要だと判断したからです。

Since June 2021, we have been operating children’s cafeterias twice a month in Sendai City, Shiogama City, and Rifu Town. The reason why we started a children’s cafeteria was because we saw the impact of the new coronavirus infection as a disaster like in the United States, and as the number of people who are struggling to make ends meet due to unemployment and a decrease in income due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection increases, we decided that it is important to support children and create a place for them in the community.

トップページにある子ども食堂の画像ですが、認定NPO法人 全国こども食堂支援センター・むすびえが2021年に開催した全国こども食堂絵画展 ―おしえて！みんなのこども食堂― において、当社団の子ども食堂に遊びに来ていた子供が応募して賞をとった作品です。本人の承諾の元、当社団主催の子ども食堂の看板に使わせていただいております。

The image of the children’s cafeteria on the top page is the National Children’s Cafeteria Painting Exhibition held in 2021 by the certified NPO National Children’s Cafeteria Support Center, Musubie – Tell me! In the Children’s Cafeteria for Everyone, a child who came to play at our children’s cafeteria applied for an award and won an award. With the consent of the person, we are using it for the signboard of the children’s cafeteria sponsored by our group.

2022年２月に起こったロシアによるウクライナ侵攻。ウクライナから我が国に避難して来られた方は2000名を超えました。現在でも【 住まい・生活物資（衣服、食料、衛生用品等）・教育・就労・生活費（寄付・助成金含む）・心のケア 】が不足しております。日本財団による渡航費や住環境整備費、１人当たり年１００万円の生活費の支援金や行政からの支援金もありますが、それだけでは足りません。当社団はウクライナからの避難民支援として、2022年5月より現在でも米や野菜・粉ミルクその他食料品・消毒薬やマスクなどの日常消耗品だけでなく、ノートPCや移動の際に必須な自転車を提供して支援をしています。2022年6月には東京で開催されたイベントでは、100名ほどの方々に対して当社団は、コメ６０キロ、そば３０キロ、１ｋGパスタ５５個、鯖缶５５個、大豆缶１５個、フェイスタオル２０枚ほどを用意しました。

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine occurred in February 2022. More than 2,000 people have fled Ukraine to Japan. Even now, there is a shortage of housing, daily necessities (clothing, food, hygiene products, etc.), education, employment, living expenses (including donations and subsidies), and mental health care. There are travel expenses and living environment improvement expenses from the Japan Foundation, living expenses of 1 million yen per person per year, and support from the government, but these are not enough. Since May 2022, we have been providing support to evacuees from Ukraine by providing not only rice, vegetables, powdered milk, other foodstuffs, daily consumables such as disinfectants, and masks, but also laptops and bicycles that are indispensable for transportation. At an event held in Tokyo in June 2022, we prepared 60 kilograms of rice, 30 kilograms of soba noodles, 55 pieces of 1 kG pasta, 55 cans of mackerel, 15 cans of soybeans, and about 20 face towels for about 100 people.

子ども食堂開催にはボランティアの方々の協力がなくしては成り立ちません。ボランティアから「フィリピンから来られた方が日本人との間に生まれた子2人をひとりで養っている。生活が厳しいから食料支援をしてほしい」という要請がありました。現在、当社団は仙台市内で開催しているこども食堂では保育園と共同で食堂を開催しています。保育園から「保育園に通っている子供にも外国にツールのある子がいて生活が厳しいので食料支援をしてほしい」という要請がありました。また、海外からの留学生が社会勉強の一環として子ども食堂のボランティアに来てくれます。その方々も「ビザの関係でバイトをする時間が限られるので生活が厳しいので支援してほしい」という要請がありました。

Holding a children’s cafeteria would not be possible without the cooperation of volunteers. A volunteer said, “A person from the Philippines is supporting two children born to Japan by herself, and we would like you to provide food assistance because life is difficult.” Currently, our group is holding a children’s cafeteria in Sendai City in collaboration with a nursery school. We received a request from the nursery school to provide food assistance because some of the children attending the nursery school have tools in foreign countries and their lives are difficult. In addition, international students from overseas come to volunteer at the children’s cafeteria as part of their social studies. They also asked for support because their lives are difficult because their time to work part-time is limited due to visas.
 活動内容の詳細、実績について
当社団は現在、こども食堂で得た物資の一部を宮城県内に避難しているウクライナ避難民と外国にツールを持つ家庭に対する食糧支援に使用します。こども食堂の運営を始めて1年程経過してロシアによるウクライナ侵攻が発生しました。新型コロナウイルス感染症・ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻に伴う石油や穀物などの物価高騰・その後の急激な円安は、生活に困窮している家庭に非常に大きな影響を与えています。特にウクライナからの避難民をはじめ外国籍や外国にツールを持つ方々は、物価高騰の影響を受けております。

Our organization is currently using a portion of the supplies we receive from the Children’s Shokudo to provide food assistance to Ukrainian evacuees evacuated to Miyagi Prefecture and families with tools abroad. About a year after we started operating the children’s cafeteria, Russia invaded Ukraine. The rapid rise in prices of oil and grain due to the new coronavirus infection, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the subsequent rapid depreciation of the yen are having a huge impact on families struggling to make ends meet. In particular, evacuees from Ukraine, foreign nationals, and people with tools abroad have been affected by the soaring prices.

外国にツールを持つ子どもの保護者の中には、日本語の壁などから就労状況が不安定になり、失業と就業を繰り返し工場のアルバイトなどで子どもたちを養う家庭は珍しくありません。貧困・困窮あるいは十分な収入のない不安定な状況は、外国にツールに持つ子どもたちにたくさん影響を与えています。昼夜働く親に代わって幼い兄弟の世話をするために学校に通わなくなる。親の失業によって高校進学を諦めて、働いて家族を支える子供もいます。

It is not uncommon for parents of children living in foreign countries to have unstable employment situations due to the Japanese language barrier, etc., and to support their children through part-time jobs at factories, repeatedly switching between unemployment and employment. Poverty, deprivation, or insecure situations without sufficient income affect many children living abroad. Children stop attending school to take care of their younger siblings in place of their parents who work day and night. Some children give up on going to high school because their parents lose their jobs and work to support their families.

外国にルーツを持つ子どもたちの場合は、外国人保護者や本人が、日本語が十分にわからない場合があるため、必要な支援や情報が得られないといった事例があります。

In the case of children with roots in foreign countries, there are cases where the foreign parents or children themselves do not understand Japanese well enough, so they are unable to receive the necessary support and information.

現在、毎月ウクライナ避難民5世帯15人、フィリピン人3世帯9名、海外からの留学生10人ほどに対して食料支援をしています。今後増えてくることが予想されます。在留外国人の生活支援をより充実させるために、クラウドファンディングを実施することにしました。

Currently, we are providing food assistance every month to 15 people from 5 Ukrainian evacuees, 9 Filipinos from 3 households, and 10 international students. It is expected that this number will increase in the future. We decided to implement crowdfunding in order to further enhance the daily life support for foreign residents.

今回のクラウドファンディングを活用して外国にツールのある人やウクライナ避難民、外国人留学生への食事支援に係る費用を募るため、クラウドファンディングを実施します。外国にルーツを持つ子どもたちは、彼らが抱えている課題がよく取り上げられます。しかし、適切な支援環境や教育機会が提供されれば、日本と海外という複数の社会文化に適用することができる貴重な存在です。

We will use this crowdfunding to raise money for meal support for people with tools abroad, evacuees from Ukraine, and foreign students. The challenges faced by children with foreign roots are often highlighted. However, if the appropriate supportive environment and educational opportunities are provided, it is a valuable asset that can be applied to multiple social cultures, both Japanese and overseas.

海外で生まれ育ち、成人前後に来日する留学生と大きく異なる点は、外国にルーツを持つ子どもたちは、その家族の生活基盤が日本に根付いていると同時に、日本国内で幼少期から日本の基礎教育を受けていることから、日本文化や社会事情に精通しています。日本側に根付いた視点でも活躍することが可能です。

A big difference from international students who were born and raised overseas and come to Japan around the time of adulthood is that children with roots in other countries have their families’ foundations rooted in Japan, while at the same time learning the basics of Japan from an early age in Japan. Because of their education, they are familiar with Japanese culture and social circumstances. It is possible to be active even from a perspective rooted in the Japanese side.

外国にルーツを持つ子どもたちとその家族は、いつか「帰国する人」ではなく、ともに地域や社会を作り上げる仲間であると同時に、日本社会に未来に新たな力を与えてくれる人たちです。

Children with roots in foreign countries and their families are not just people who will return to their home country someday, but rather they are friends who together create communities and society, and at the same time they are people who will give Japanese society new strength in the future.

「ケイズハウスNPO助成プログラム」は日本国内の外国人の生活をサポートする活動を応援する助成プログラムです。主催であるケイズハウス株式会社と連携し、クラウドファンディングで活動資金の調達に取り組む団体への助成とその先の受益者への支援の拡大を目指します。このクラウドファンディングによって外国にルーツを持つ子どもたち、その家族をはじめとする多様な人々が作り出す社会が豊かさの源泉となる未来を、多くの外国人と共につくっていきたいと思います！

The “K’s House NPO Grant Program” is a grant program that supports activities that support the lives of foreigners in Japan. In collaboration with the organizer, K’s House Co., Ltd., we aim to provide grants to organizations that raise funds for their activities through crowdfunding and expand support to the beneficiaries. Through this crowdfunding, we would like to work with many foreigners to create a future where a society created by diverse people, including children with foreign roots and their families, is a source of abundance!

 寄付金の使い道について
ご寄付でいただいた資金は、食料購入費、文房具の購入等に使わせていただきます。現在、日本には2.4万人の外国人留学生が暮らしています。外国人留学生はアルバイトなどで制約があり、慣れない環境の中、日々の食事にも困っている方が多くいます。当社団では、クラウドファンディングで集まった資金を元に食料や日常品の提供支援を通じて、留学生の孤立を防ぐ支援を行います。

Funds received from donations will be used to purchase food, stationery, etc. Currently, there are 24,000 foreign students living in Japan. Many international students have restrictions due to part-time jobs, are in an unfamiliar environment, and have trouble finding food on a daily basis. Our organization will use funds raised through crowdfunding to help prevent international students from becoming isolated by providing food and daily necessities.
